Workflow automation · Etsy and Shopify shops

Automation for shops that sell on Etsy and Shopify.

I’m Harley Dougherty. I build tools for jewelry shops with 86,000+ Etsy sales between them, so orders, listings, and customer messages are handled once instead of retyped between the shop, a spreadsheet, and email.

Built for shops that ship every day.

I build for Bujoro and its sister jewelry stores: Silver City by Eva, Silver Gates, Golden Gates Co., and BirthstoneCo. Between them they have 86,000+ Etsy sales and 17,000+ reviews, and they ship every day. Behind that volume is the same problem every online shop knows: orders, product details, and customer questions get copied by hand from one place to another.

If you sell on Etsy, Shopify, or both, and someone on your team spends part of every day retyping what the shop already knows, that is the task we start with.

What I build.

Custom tools around the shop platform, the spreadsheets, and the email your team already uses. Not every task needs AI; some are better handled with straightforward rules, and I recommend the approach that fits the process.

Orders and fulfilment paperwork

An order comes in and the picking list, packing note, and tracker are prepared as drafts. When an order changes, the linked drafts update together for your team to check.

Product listings and catalog

Product details kept in one place and prepared for each channel, so a new piece or a price change is entered once instead of copied into every listing by hand.

Customer messages

Replies to the questions buyers ask every week, on sizing, shipping, and custom orders, drafted from your approved answers in your voice. You decide what sends on its own and what needs a person.

“It’s freed us up to focus on designing the jewelry we love.”

Justin

“We had several things we wanted to improve but weren’t sure where to start. Harley helped us choose one task we do every week and gave us a clear price for fixing it. We’ve been using the finished tool regularly, and the difference is easy to see.”

A client

How a project works.

  1. A free 20-minute review

Bring one task the shop repeats. No technical brief is needed. A video call is enough.

  2. A written proposal

The tools, connections, review steps, and price are agreed before any development starts.

  3. Build and test

I build the tool, connect the agreed platforms, and test it with real orders and messages from your shop.

  4. Handover

A walkthrough for the people who will use it, written running costs, and the support set out in the proposal.

Common questions.

Which shop platforms do you work with?

The jewelry shops I build for sell on Etsy. I also build around Shopify and other platforms, and around the spreadsheets and email a shop already uses. The review starts with what your shop runs on today.

Do you only work with jewelry shops?

No. Jewelry is where the proof is, because that is who I have built for. The same order, listing, and message workflows apply to any small shop that sells products online.

Will this change how our shop looks to customers?

No. The tools work behind the shop, on the orders, documents, and messages your team handles. Customers see the same shop; your team retypes less.

Does a person still check things?

Yes. Drafts, matched orders, and prepared replies wait for a person where judgment is needed. You decide what can run on its own and what needs a check.

What does it cost?

The review is free. Implementation is quoted after we review the workflow. Your proposal explains the project price, any ongoing software charges, handover, and included support before work begins.

What keeps repeating?

Bring one recurring task. A description is enough to start. I take on a few new clients each month.
